We have a brand-new exciting role with a fast-growing SaaS business who are looking for a talented Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant to work with their customers in a primarily post-sale capacity, on their new Data Analytics product as they approach full commercial launch – ultimately taking responsibility for the platform.
Working closely with both existing Customers but also the Customer Success, Product teams, and external partners, you will play a key role in the success of the new data platform (PaaS) by helping to shape the overall development of the product and become the subject-matter-expert within the business.
It is essential you are a comfortable client-facing Solutions Engineer with strong consulting skills and a natural ability to gather customer requirements and translate into effective solutions (solutions design), as well as a natural ability to train and teach the solution effectively to non-technical audiences via webinar and face-to-face demonstrations.
You will have strong technical database skills (data modelling, manipulation, importing) with a proven commercial background using SQL which will allow you to manage the development of the platform in response to customer requirements and also ideally have experience with PowerBI and LookML / Looker – but if not, be willing and able to learn it quickly.
