We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join one of the most exciting Logistics businesses in the UK. You will be involved in a broad range of tasks; you will be given the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects and will have the chance to develop in a busy department where each team member is valued.

A big part of this role is fostering a culture of being open and honest, collaborating, and having fun. Our client is creating a place for teams to do their best work, and you’ll have the opportunity to influence their decisions, help define standards across the teams and contribute to a healthy and happy working environment.

You will be required to regularly visit their distribution centres and be part of an on-call rota. A typical expectation will be to be on call every 1 in 4 weeks (which comes with an extra bonus). You will work closely with internal/external IT infrastructure suppliers to implement technology roadmaps aligned to the future business and technology strategies and contribute to the development and future direction of those roadmaps. We are looking for candidates with a passion for technology who can effectively work on their own with little supervision. This is a fast-paced environment and would suit candidates coming out of an MSP or any other fast-paced IT setup.
