We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented PR Account Manager/Director to join a fast-growing Full Service Comms Agency in Leicester (WFH and Office). As a PR Account Manager/Director, you will manage a portfolio of client’s PR/Marcomms accounts, attend client meetings provide strategic counsel to clients to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns by providing innovative and creative ideas, build relationships with key media contacts, write and sell in engaging press releases, handle budgets and manage campaign costs, plus analyse PR coverage and provide written reports. You will also be required to be involved in pitching for new business.
This role will suit either a MarComms/PR Account Manager looking for the next step, or a PR Account Director looking to expand on current knowledge and experience. You will be self-motivated with a can-do friendly attitude and be able to build and nurture the PR department from the ground up. It is important that you have an enthusiastic and positive attitude and are able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
From day one, you will be required to start to build and nurture the PR department plus work with current and new clients on a daily basis. You will have the ability and confidence to build and maintain client and agency relationships and have a high level of attention to detail with exceptional communication skills – both presentation, verbal and written skills. You will also have a flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation and outstanding interpersonal skills.
