Salary | £22K – £25K basic + £10K OTE (Year 1 uncapped)
We are looking for a self-motivated and target-driven Sales Executive to take on an Account Manager role with an established and market-leading Technology company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
This role is primarily responsible for developing new and existing business within an assigned channel, selling my clients portfolio of network software products and services and managing key commercial relationships.
IT sales experience is not necessary as full training will be given – however, you’ll ideally come from a B2B sales environment, where you have sold products and built relationships over the telephone, maybe as an Inside Sales rep, Account Executive or Business Development Manager,
Experience within a technology sales role would be a plus but is in no way essential (full training on the portfolio will be given) as for my client, drive, hunger and a natural ability to build relationships is most important.
My client will also consider Graduates who have a genuine interest in a career in Sales.
Once in the role, you’ll join a team of 4-5 more experienced Sales Account Managers – who are all earning £50K – £60K – and take over an existing territory, meaning you’ll inherit a pipeline and warms leads immediately and hit the ground running with your commission.
You’ll be highly motivated and have no fear about picking up the phone in the office, driven to build on existing relationships within your channel as well as rekindle old contacts that may have been dealt with in the past.
It’s also important that you have a passion for technology and a genuine appreciation for new and exciting products, using that excitement to sell the benefits to your accounts and drive sales to achieve your targets.
